300 books and counting: Read like Rory Gilmore!

Netflix announced a reboot of Gilmore Girls, and we are rejoicing! We cannot wait to know more about Rory, and some of us are rejoicing because we might just get to see more of her books! As would be clear to anybody who has seen the show, Rory Gilmore loves her books. She has read over 300 books during the seven year run of the show. Here are a few of our favorites:

April 23 marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare‘s death. With 38 plays, 154 sonnets and 5 narrative poems to his credit, Shakespeare is remembered for both, his staggering work ethic and remarkable understanding of human nature.

World Book Day: In books we travel, within ourselves and beyond

Imagine a lazy rainy evening, a hot steaming mug of coffee, that book you’ve been craving for since forever and your favourite spot on the couch. Perfect, isn’t it?

Recall that sense of exhilaration, that adrenaline rush you feel when you enter a book store and can’t decide which book to pick first. And later, when you come out of the book store, your hands heavy because of all the books you just purchased and even though you spent a bomb on it, you are now the proud owner of them forever and ever and those books will now faithfully sit on your bookshelf for the rest of your life bringing a dreamy, hopeful gleam to your eyes and an inexplicable grin to your face.
